Moose McGillycuddy`s in Maui

Came to get something to eat and see our last Maui sunset. Happy hour is a great value. Kalua pig is delish - better than our luxury luau. Expect it to be noisy but friendly staff and tasty eats. Nice to not break the bank on dinner.

The drinks here are amazing! I had the passion colada and it was the best drink... at least Frozen drink I've ever had! I gave up four stars because I got the two appetizers for 13 bucks which is part of happy hour. And it wasn't very much food, I was pretty disappointed. But on the plus side it tasted pretty good. Anyways fantastic drinks on happy hour for sure recommend!

What an awesome bar. I saw it on the Maui Happy Hours app. This is a great place to watch sports and has a killer sunset view. Our food was excellent and they have discounted food specials every night according to the menu. Highly recommend this when you're on Maui.

This place is popular. The wait was kinda long but we got to enjoy the sunset across the street. The food is great and our server was great.

We went for taco night on a Tuesday. Everything was great and the consensus was that the Kalua pork tacos were the best. I really liked their salsa too.

Seventeen of us had a great time two nights in a row! Yes, 17! Tuesday was bingo and was a lot of fun. The coconut shrimp is a must have! The manager, Billy, was super cool and he's why we came back the second night! Parting comment: try the moose dessert!

Used to be my favorite for breakfast. No more! The scrambled eggs Taste and felt like they had been sitting for an hour or more. I paid$1.00 extra for pineapple on my pancakes, they have me about a teaspoon of dried pineapple. My wife ordered French toast they have her the heal. Our server Betsy did a great job serving that's why the one star.

Great fried rice. Always good service. I love the loco Moco.

Great atmosphere. Food was really good and the staff was great! I was here for a week and noticed that some of the staff hung out there on their data off in addition to other locals which says a lot considering the location. Super good vibe and the drinks were really good as well. Plenty of TVs for watching sports and a great ocean view as well. Will definitely come back!

Hands down the best pork kalua tacos ever!! Taco Tuesdays are only $3 a taco...best deal on the island. Fun pub atmosphere, one side is bar and the other side is for families. Drinks are super cheap during happy hour also.

Chain restaurant, but the food is good and the daily specials are decent. Louder atmosphere as they play a range of music in the background, as well as the music video for the music on the screens. Good for a late breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night gathering spot. Oh - with a view. :)

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The food is abundant and very tasty. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp or any of the burgers.

Great views and food...go on taco Tuesday for a deal. Don't park in Kihei Kai Nani resort lot (south side) or you'll get towed. Beware.

Just came in for a drink, but ended up getting the wings which were delicious. They have house made teriyaki sauce that I didn't care for too much, but it was okay. The hot wing sauce however was very good, that along with the house-made bleu cheese was a perfect combo. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. A great place to eat or just hangout and have a drink.

Great place for burgers and fries! Go on Wednesday and enjoy $10 or $12 for any burger except for the Fantasy Burger. The "Famous Burgers" are made with local beef on a brioche bun. Try the Chuck Berry Hot Blues Burger with a slice of pineapple! Perfect blend of sweet, spicy and savory. (Shown in the pic). It was not overwhelmingly spicy, just the right amount of kick.Or try the Angelica pickles for something dill-lightfulBig Kahuna for something sweet (ask to upgrade to the Maui beef and brioche bun- mmm!)Or Royal Canadian burger for extra protein. Everyone at our table loved these choices. Service was fast and friendly. They played trivia with an Emcee, that was fun too!

Super friendly bartender (don't recall her name unfortunately) who gave us great, honest recommendations for food. Had a couple of the lilikoi martinis and was very satisfied afterwards. Good spot to go to for a low key night or for happy hour

Best burger I had in Hawaii after two weeks between Oahu and Maui. Went because of the moose/Canadian origin (Canadian here) and was not disappointed at all. Great quick service. Awesome burger. Would definitely recommend, especially when it's across the street from a beautiful beach. 👍👍

Very fun NFL Sunday here. Lots of Raiders and Seahawks fans. Breakfast was just okay, but the beers were served cold and quickly.You should be able to find your team on one of the many TVs.The regular crew was very nice and welcoming to a vacationer as well. Had fun!

Love the late night menu. Perfect for people that work late and want something to eat with a beer after work.

Great food, prompt friendly service, reasonable priced with a view of the sunset! We got the coconut shrimp and chips plate, 9 big shrimp covered in coconut, fried just right, not greasy. The mango dipping sauce was a perfect addition. Definitely going back!

Great Food. Great Atmosphere. Watch sporting events. See the sunset. I LOVE their pig tacos!! Burgers and Fish & Chips are also very good. Wait staff is excellent. I've been here many times and never had a bad experience.

This place is a must stop for us. They always have the sporting events going. Great beers and cocktails and food is really good too.

Just watched the Super Bowl. What a great place and atmosphere to watch the game. Only negative was there were to people rudely and stubbornly hogging two tables in this standing room only spot. Never learned about sharing when they were younger I guess. Were asked by staff a number of times to share their two tables but they wouldn't have it. I feel sorry for jerks like this.

Great food, lots of options including breakfast served later. Had the coconut shrimp and chips, hubby had the wings. Decent size portions and a great view of the ocean. Down home and casual.

Great place to eat and also have fun. Food selection limited however what they offer is both good and competitively priced. Service was very good. Issue could be parking based on the time of your meal.

Have been here several times. It is a very interesting bar and restaurant. The food found here is good and the staff are excellent. Happy Hour is very special. The views from a window seat and even a little back in are excellent for a sunset. This place reflects Canadian owner and the good experience of the North. Nice to have. Happy Hour from 4 to 7 pm is excellent. But, with all this, expect crowded and U can wait in line for a bit. Is it it worth it? I very much believe so. Enjoy. Eh!!!!

They have the best happy hour in Maui. It runs from 3 to 7 pm. Food portions are enough to split. They have an amazing chocolate dessert that's not on the menu so be sure to ask your server for it separately. Make sure you check out the sunsets...they are spectacular!

This is my favorite place to take the family. Fred's is downstairs and has "taco tuesday" which gives you 12 tacos to choose from. The tacos at the moose are also on special, but there is only 8. Best drink specials are at moses though, hands down. Expect a bit of a wait, especially with a big group, but there is a great gift shop to wander through, and the beach is right across the street. The buzzer wont work that far away but if they say it's an hour wait then you can go for a walk for a bit. This is where you want to come for a sugar induced coma kind of drink, or a beer. Never had the maitais. Say Hi to "Coach" Billy from Brooke and Brody the Canadian couple!

Great place to hang out and watch sports with a few cocktails. Most condos don't have hockey so a good place to watch them. Happy hour is good but if you order the 20 oz beer it is not on special. Decent pub food, good atmosphere and service was friendly.

The place is interesting.

Great food & service. Was within walking distance from the condo we rented. They have THE best Macadamia nut French toast & coconut syrup...amazing!!! I didn't think I would like the syrup, but it was surprisingly yummy!! Not to mention Coconut shrimp to die for!

This ended up being our favorite place to eat. Great food, great atmosphere and great views! We even saw whales in the ocean from our seats inside.

Great place to watch the surfers or go surfing yourself.

You can get loose with the moose and have a couple of chicken wings on the side it’s a good hang out

Haven't been in awhile. Still a relaxed vibe, nice music, good pub food, and a healthy draft selection. Although I miss the Loco Moco that used to be on the menu.

This is a fun place with a million dollar view of the ocean...food and drinks were very good. Service was attentive. We recommend this place.

Run by a Canadian so you will get a touch of Canada on the menu. Well organized and quick service. These guys do not mess around. Quick in and quick out or stay as long as you want. The drinks are medium strong and well flavored. This is an adult style beach bar

Great location with an ocean view, attentive staff and THICK burgers. I tried this place out several years ago on vacation and it stood out in my mind, so on my revisit to Maui it was on of my destinations. I'm glad to say it's still just as good!

Kaunalli ( not sure if I got the name right )was an Excellent server. Very down to earth and real kind of guy. Funny too.

Taco Tuesdays!!!!! Was sat promptly for a table of 5. Lisa Lu was a great server. Fun, knowledgeable and simply a great server. Took time to have a moment of conversation at times. I went with 1 ahi, 1 shrimp and 1 calamari taco. All were spectacular!! Shrimp was my favorite though. Very lightly dressed slaw and fresh tomatoes. I'd be back w/out question. Walked out with a $21 (+ tip)bill with 3 huge tacos and 2 14oz beers.... thank you for a great meal!!

I was looking for a bar close to my hotel while on a business trip. McGillycuddy's met my expectations. I did not get food but the drinks were average and service was average. The people watching was fantastic with a mix of locals and tourists... I'll probably get drinks here in the future because it is convenient but it is nothing to write home about.
